Wild Game Processing
ATTENTION: We are currently experiencing a higher demand in all areas of processing needs and scheduling. Wild game animals will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Our availability to accept wild game will change daily. WE WILL NOT HOLD OR RESERVE SPACES FOR ANYBODY. Your harvest needs to come in skinned.
Wild Game Processing-
YES! Bountiful Ventures, LLC processes wild game of all types. All animals MUST have a carcass tag attached (or donation slip from the DOW), ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. An average animal will yield about 55% of its hanging weight. We have a set "across the board" price for wild game processing. The best way for you to get the most out of your kill is by taking great care of it in the field. A carcass full of hair and dirt will essentially need re-skinned making your total pounds of finished product less. Bring us a clean, cared for carcass to best fill your freezer!
Cuts and Packaging-
Bountiful Ventures offers a variety of choices when it comes to processing your wild game. We also offer a variety of specialty meats ranging from breakfast sausage to meat sticks. Check out our cut sheet below and specialty page

Receiving Hours and After Hours Drop Off-
We are open to receive wild game Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 5pm and on Saturdays by reservation only. For your convenience we have an after hours drop off process. For $25 per animal, you can call 719-580-2098 and arrange to drop off your wild game after hours and on weekends. (We will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.)
Cooler Storage Fees-
Do you process your own game but can't get to it for a while? We will store your elk in the cooler for $15/day with a $100 minimum and deer for $5/day with a $50 minimum!
Our typical turn around for processing wild game is two-three weeks (more if we are back logged with specialty). We will make attempts to call you as soon as your meat is available for pick up. We appreciate prompt pick-up as our freezer storage space is limited. If your wild game meat is left in our freezer beyond two weeks after receiving your first pick up call, you will be charged a $25 weekly fee! I cannot stress enough....please pick up your meat in a timely manner so that you can enjoy your meat and we can get another animal in the freezer! We appreciate your understanding and help with this.
Rush Fee-
Do you need your animal processed ASAP? Maybe you are just in a hurry or maybe you are from out of town and need to get back home! You can pay a rush fee of $200 to have your animal moved to top priority. *Limited specialty products available with rush orders
Shipping-
Do you need your wild game meat shipped? No problem! Bountiful Meats & Processing uses a third-party shipping company out of Colorado. This company will ship via freezer truck or refer trailer straight to your door! Shipping takes up to six weeks from the time we call them to let them know that your order is ready for delivery! Once we call them and they pick up your order they will call you to arrange delivery and shipping payment!
